The film picks up after the event of WandaVision and Spiderman: No way home, it is already be called as Marvel's most ambitious project of this year which sources say would show us some the most interesting cameos or scene of weirdest comic book character to Disney+ What if character and all the old actor who played in a Marvel movie before MCU as well in the form of variants.
1. EVIL DOCTOR STRANGE- although it is not confirmed that it is the same Supreme Strange we have seen in What if animated series of Disney+ or some other evil Variant of Doctor Strange, but as its is shown in the trailer it is totally confirmed that an evil variant of Doctor Strange will appear in Doctor Strange multiverse of madness. Really Sam Raimi came back to direct a Marvel movie after so many years just to give us another Bully Maguire alike character, Thug Strange. but really if its gonna be true I will be the most happy person alive.
2. DEFENDER STRANGE- After the leaks of Doctor Strange multiverse of madness toys, Marvel officially confirmed that we would be getting a Defender Strange variant in Multiverse of Madness. Defender Strange emerged in the pages of The Defenders # 1 by Matt Fraction, when the events of Fear Itself lead Stephen Strange to assemble a team to defend the planet from the threat posed by Nul, the destroyer. of worlds, all this on Earth 11127 and got same abilities and powers as Doctor Strange from Earth 616, and his purpose for defending the Universe from mystical evils is the same as Stephen Strange’s.
3. Blackbolt- Rumours from Fandomwire states that the ruler of Attilian and the leader of Inhumans, Blackbolt, will be making his MCU debut in Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness. Although it is not confirmed that this Blackboolt would be the same as what we have already seen in ABC's Inhuman series but rumours say that Anson Mount might reprise his role as Blackbolt.
4. ERIC BANA'S AND EDWARD NORTON'S HULK- Eric Bana from the live action adaptation of Hulk in 2003 as well as Edward Norton from the incredible Hulk oof 2009 might reprise there role as Hulk Variant in Doctor Strange Multiverse of madness.
5. DOCTOR STRANGE IN MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS MIGHT REVIVE THE OLD XMEN FRANCHISE FOR ONE LAST TIME- It is Rumoured from many sources that Doctor Strange Multiverse of madness might be reviving the old X-men franchise character such as Magneto, Storm, Wolverine, Cyclops, Jane Foster, and Professor X which is also rumoured to be played by the same actors.
6. Doctor strange in the multiverse of madness also rumours to have cameos of Nicholas Cage as Ghost rider, Ben Affleck as Daredevil, And Tobey Maguire as Spiderman might come back in some important role after the events of no way home. whereas it is also rumoured that we might see Hayley Atwell as Captain Carter from the What if series in live action as a cameo.
7. MR. FANTASTIC- Mr. Fantastic can make his MCU debut in Doctor Strange In multiverse of madness as rumour say and the rumours say that Marvel did the fan casting for this role, John Krasinski.
8. TOM CRUISE AS SUPERIOR IRONMAN- reportedly from some sources this movie will actually see the introduction of a new Iron Man or better called a Variant Tony Stark, which is rumoured to be played by none other than Mission Impossible actor Tom Cruise. For people who don't know, long before the success of Robert Downey Jr. as the much-beloved Iron Man, Marvel had reportedly offered the original Iron Man role to Tom, who had refused it as he considered it was too much of a risk at that time. It was said that he did not feel 'it was gonna work', leading him to pass on the role to Robert Downey Jr. The rest, as you know, was history, with Downey's performance as the superhero really setting a tone for the whole MCU. But now, it looks Tom could be righting some of his wrongs by playing the variant Tony Stark.
